
The first of the snow and wind will arrive this afternoon in Wisconsin, but this round of winter weather won’t end until Thursday.
The National Weather Service has issued a series of watches and warnings for the entire state, starting this afternoon.
There is a Winter Storm Warning for folks in and around Eau Claire that runs from this afternoon til Thursday morning.
There is a Winter Weather Advisory for folks in the central part of the state, stretching from The Dells to Green Bay.
That starts later this evening. Milwaukee and the southern part of the state are under a Winter Storm Watch that begins tomorrow.
Forecasters say folks in western Wisconsin could see more than 20 inches of snow by the time this storm is finished.
Eastern Wisconsin is expected to get around 12 to 18 inches.
