Prosecutors don’t believe the 16-year-old girl killed in last year’s staged robbery of a Milwaukee Burger King was in on it.
The D.A. told a judge on Friday he doesn’t believe Niesha Harris-Brazell was acting with Antoine Edwards the night he leaned inside her drive-thru window, and she was shot and killed.
Edwards pleaded guilty on Friday to murder charges.
In exchange, prosecutors will ask for just 20 years in prison and agreed to drop three other felony charges against him.
Investigators say another Burger King employee shot at Edwards, but hit Harris-Brazell during the robbery attempt.
That man pleaded guilty to weapons charges and served just 12 months in the House of Correction.
