Kimberly Ann Gerfen, age 64, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at her home.
She was born August 25, 1958 in Illinois, daughter of the late Norman and Eleanor (Kahail) Gerfen. Kimberly attended Manitowoc schools. She was employed with Lakeside Foods of Manitowoc for 37 years. Kimberly loved throwing darts and playing cards. She was also an avid black coffee drinker and was passionate about finding deals and attending rummage sales.
Kimberly is survived by her two children: Johnny Wheeler III and Heather Gerfen; eight grandchildren: Zariah, Malakhi, Laila, Daekwon (Day-Kwon), Zen, Peanut (Arriving in August), Tyrese, and Mason; her niece: Ashley Kliment (Ryan Gohr); nephew: Joshua Klein; great-niece: Jayden; a great-niece or great-nephew arriving in May; and her best friends: Vicki and John Cain. She was preceded in death by her parents and her second family: Christine Garrigan and Lawrence Sebo.
Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 North Water Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Jeremy Vance. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m.
