The winning ways of the UW Green Bay Women’s Basketball team continued Sunday with a 75-55 win over Wright State.
The Phoenix pulled out to a 39-25 lead at the half and coasted to their 7th win in a row.
UWGB was led by Appleton North graduate Sydney Levy, who tallied 17 points, while Natalie McNeal of Germantown was close behind with 16.
Bailey Butler, who hails from South Wayne Wisconsin, added 11 points for the Phoenix, whose record improved to 21-4, 14-2 in Conference.
This is good for a half-game lead over Cleveland State in the Horizon League standings.
The Phoneix have a few days to recover, as they will start up a two-game weekend road trip on Friday at Robert Morris, followed by a game in Youngstown Ohio.
The Phoenix will take on the Youngstown State Penguins Sunday, which is who stopped their last 10-game win streak back on January 20th.
