handful of protesters spent part of their day yesterday calling for Dane County’s D.A. to resign over Quantaze Campbell’s death.
The protesters from Freedom Inc are upset that the district attorney didn’t file charges against the officer who shot and killed Campbell back in October.
The D.A. said the evidence showed that the deputy who shot Campbell was protecting himself, and was justified in using force.
Video shows Campbell trying to run down the deputy in a pickup truck.
The protesters say the D.A. allows “killer cops” to roam free, but punishes “black people for surviving.”
