The UW Green Bay men’s basketball team has finally gotten in the win column after a 14-game losing streak.
The Phoenix were at UW Milwaukee last night where they defeated the host Panthers 80-79 in OT.
Davin Zeigler would drain a massive three with one second left in regulation to send the game to overtime and would hit the game-winning shot with less than a second left in the extra frame, giving the Phoenix their third win of the season.
Randy Tucker would lead UWGB with 20 points while Zeigler netted 18.
Brock Heffner would add 17 points of his own while Ryan Wade accounted for 10.
The Phoenix can relish their win for a couple of days before they take on the Oakland Grizzlies at the Kress Events Center on Thursday.
