Green Bay Southwest rallied from six points down in the second half to edge Manitowoc Lincoln 52-to-51 in FRCC Boys Basketball action last night.
With the win, the host Trojans were able to split the season series with the Ships and improve their record to 8-and-5 in the conference, and 10-and-8 overall.
After Lincoln senior guard Brayden Kennedy nailed a 3-pointer, his 5th of the night, to give Manitowoc a 51-50 lead in the final minute, Connor Pytleski worked himself free for a baseline lay-in that proved to be the game-winner.
Pytleski, the league leader in both scoring and rebounding, topped Southwest with 22 points.
Chris Seals chipped in 12.
Kennedy was the lone Ships player in double digits with a game-high 27 points.
Lincoln dropped its third straight game and falls to 10-and-8, 6-and-7 in conference.
