Green Bay Police Chief Chis Davis had a big surprise in his mail recently.
The Green Bay Police Department reports that a package containing just over 3 grams of fentanyl, and nearly .8 grams of cocaine was sent to the Department, addressed to the Chief.
The package never made it to Chief Davis as it was intercepted internally, and the drugs and a letter of explanation have been processed as evidence.
In a statement, Chief Davis said that while they get a lot of correspondence from the community “this is the first time anyone has ever sent us drugs.”
He went on to say that they are “investigating this situation” and reminded residents, “Please don’t send us drugs in the mail.”
