The Manitowoc Lincoln Boys Basketball team earned its second consecutive conference win in overtime last night by outlasting host Sheboygan South 59-to-50 at Acuity Fieldhouse.
Brock Peterson scored 6 points in the extra four-minute session to help the Ships to victory.
Teammate Brayden Kennedy dumped in a game-high 27 points to lead Coach Thadd Cornell’s team, now 9-and-5 overall, and 5-and-4 in the FRCC.
Matt Leonhard paced the Redwings, coached by Manitowoc native and Lincoln grad Jesse Shaw, with 14 points.
With the loss, South drops to 1-and-8 in league, and 4-and-10 for the season.
