
There are four governmental meetings scheduled for today in Manitowoc County.
First up is the Traffic Safety Commission, which will gather at the Sheriff’s Office.
After the public is given time to comment, the Commission will approve the appointments of Ben Meinnert as the Chief of Police in Two Rivers, and Joseph Jeanty as the Chief in Kiel.
Then at 5:30 p.m., the Extension Education and Agriculture Committee will be in the Heritage Center basement.
They will approve a resolution regarding a grant application submitted to the West Foundation.
At the same time, the Finance Committee will be upstairs in the Heritage Center getting an update on the county finances and budget.
Closing out the day will be the County Board of Supervisors.
They will be in the County Board Meeting Room at 6:00 p.m. where they will discuss the establishment of a committee to oversee the Courthouse dome project.
