There’s a warning from both police and the school district in Wauwatosa about a suspicious van.
Police got a call about the van last Thursday, the caller said someone inside of the van tried to abduct a child.
That child ran away, and a neighbor stepped out and scared the man from the van away.
The school district sent a letter home to parents last week explaining the situation and praising the student for running away.
Police say they are looking for the van, and not that it has been seen in other nearby communities as well.
