The Manitowoc Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a shooting incident that took place back in August. On August 10th, 2017, Officers were called to a parking lot behind Shopko in Manitowoc, on a report of people fighting, and a gun being fired. Eyewitness interviews uncovered that two men and two women were involved. A sweep of the scene uncovered an unfired 9mm round, an expended 9mm casing, and a white headband. On August 23rd, Officials received information that Antonio Combs may have been the individual that fired the gun, and on September 27th, DNA on the Headband was matched with Combs. In the meantime, officials went to the last known address of Combs, but instead met his on again off again girlfriend, Brittany Travis. She denied being a part of the incident, claiming she was at work. A check with her employer determined that was not true. On February 1st, Officials received information saying that both Combs and Travis were involved in the incident. Travis was arrested Wednesday and is facing charges of Recklessly Endangering Safety, Disorderly Conduct, and 2 counts of Obstructing an Officer. The investigation remains ongoing.
