If you forgot to take the Childcare Study, being conducted by Leede Research, we have some good news.
Leede CEO Dean Halvorson told us they have extended the survey through January 7th. To date, over 580 people have completed the questionnaire, which looks to get a better understanding of childcare needs in Manitowoc County.
Halvorson also told us that childcare is a factor for 56% of respondents, and the top factor of 12 that were measured.
45% of respondents indicate that childcare issues have a significant impact on their ability to fully participate in the Manitowoc County workforce.
A more complete breakdown will be available once the study is closed, and Leede has the opportunity to dive deeper into the numbers.
To take the study go to LeedeWI.com/Childcare.
The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete and is available through a variety of sources and community organizations.
As thanks for participants’ time, there will be a drawing for multiple prize packages, courtesy of Seehafer News.
