Those who traveled for the Christmas holiday were paying more at the pump than the week before.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, the average price per gallon of fuel in Manitowoc County rose 12 cents to $2.87 per gallon, ending a six-week stretch of consistent declines.
Sheboygan County motorists are paying 22 cents more this week with an average of $2.90, while Calumet County reported a 9-cent jump to $2.78.
Outagamie County saw a 21-cent swell to $2.75, while Brown County fuel is 18 cents per gallon more expensive compared to last week, now averaging $2.89.
Kewaunee County reported an 8-cent jump to $2.83, while Door County only reported a rise of one penny to $2.81.
The state average also jumped 7 cents to $2.85, while the national average actually fell two cents to $3.10.
