Wisconsin’s Democratic U.S. Senator is bragging about the $250 million in earmarks she got in the latest federal spending plan.
Senator Tammy Baldwin yesterday said she secured more than a quarter-billion dollars in the omnibus spending package.
The money will go to all manner of projects, including a lot of clean energy initiatives, new testing for PFAS pollution, and a couple of million dollars for improvements at UW-Madison.
Baldwin calls the money “critical investments” in the state.
