A barn fire in Sheboygan County on Wednesday claimed the lives of multiple animals.
The Sheboygan County Emergency Communication Center received a call at around 2:00 p.m. reporting the fire at W4720 Gerber Lake Road in the Town of Rhine.
17 fire departments from around the area responded to battle the blaze.
The barn was deemed a total loss, and a multitude of animals that were trapped inside perished.
This included some chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, and several others.
It is not known at this time what caused the fire.
