The scheduled hockey game between Manitowoc United and Waupaca last night was canceled.
The reason was cited as an illness, however, it is not clear if that was within the Comets organization or the Manitowoc squad.
Coach Mark Hinz is working on rescheduling the contest.
As of now, the next game for United will be after the new year.
They will be at the MSOE Kern Center in Milwaukee for a rematch against WNS.
The last time these teams squared off, WNS pulled off an 8-7 win with a last-minute goal.
That game will begin at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 5th.
