Dennis S. Petreshock, age 67, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
He was born December 17, 1954 in Manitowoc, son of the late Stephen and Shirley (Heyduk) Petreshock. Dennis attended Lincoln High School, graduating with the class of 1973. He was employed at the Mirro Boat Plant, Manitowoc Shipbuilding, Kelvinator, and Manitowoc Tool and Machining until his retirement. Dennis was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt, especially squirrels. He was also highly in demand for his deer processing skills. He enjoyed being outdoors with his friend and hunting buddy Bill Krcma. In high school, Dennis pitched for the Lincoln Ships, where he was known for his knuckleball. Dennis continued playing softball with his family in his later years. He was a good shortstop and second baseman. Above all, Dennis enjoyed time spent with family, especially at the cottage in Portage.
Dennis is survived by his daughter: Brooke Henry; three step-children: Michelle Juedes (Mike Briggs), Lisa (Dan) Eisenschink, and Brian (Jennifer) Peterson; eight grandchildren: Nathan and Isaiah Henry, Joshua and Mackenzie Juedes, Dr. Jake (Dr. Rachelle) and Amber Eisenschink, and Christian and Caitlin Peterson; his former wife and mother of his daughter: JoAnn Petreshock; two half-brothers: George Haase and Stephen Petreshock; and one sister: Sue Lettenberger. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son-in-law: Jason Henry; and one half-brother: David Petreshock.
Per Dennis’s wishes, cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and private family services will be held at a later date.
