
A State Representative from Oostburg has been named second in command of the Joint Finance Committee.
Assemblyman Terry Katsma will be serving his third term on the Committee, but this time he will be the Assembly Vice Chair.
Rep Katsma responded to the news by saying, “It is my great privilege to be entrusted to serve the people of Wisconsin in a new role on the Joint Finance Committee…I sincerely thank Speaker Vos for selecting me to assume new leadership responsibility.”
Rep. Katsma was first elected to the State Assembly in 2014 and has been a member of the Joint Finance Committee since 2019.
He has also previously served as chairman of the Assembly Committee on Financial Institutions, as vice-chairman of the Assembly Committee on Ways and Means, and as a member of the State Building Commission.
