UW Manitowoc Women’s Basketball Falls to UW Marinette

The UW Manitowoc Women’s basketball team couldn’t hold on to a 4 point halftime lead, falling to visiting UW Marinette 62-48 last night. The Lady Blue Devils led the Buccaneers 32-28 at the intermission according to head coach Mike Schmidt. Former Roncalli athlete Alissa Schramm paced the Blue Devils with 15 points, while teammate and Lincoln graduate, Nicole Parrish posted her second consecutive double-double, with 14 points and 10 rebounds, UW Manitowoc will be traveling to Fond Du Lac tomorrow night for another Wisconsin Collegiate Conference game, ahead of the seeding meeting for the WCC Playoffs.
