Mercury Marine Reaches Contract Agreement With Union Workers

Fond du Lac-based Mercury Marine says it has reached a collective bargaining agreement with its union.  A company announcement emphasizes its “partnership” with I-A-M-A-W Lodge 1947 which will be in effect through August 26th, 2023. All of the details of the agreement will not be made public but include wage increases and enhanced benefits providing for increased flexibility.  Mercury Marine’s global headquarters is located in Fond du Lac.  Nearly 32-hundred of its six-thousand total employees work at the Wisconsin location.  The company says it has spent more than 800-million dollars on expansions and new product development over the last eight years.
