Roncalli High School Junior guard, Chombi Lambert, poured-in a ‘school-record’ ‘45’ points Saturday night in the Jets’ 83-62 win over visiting St. Mary’s Springs of Fond Du Lac. It helped coach Joe Garceau’s team complete a 3-and-oh week that began with an impressive win over previously undefeated Howards Grove Tuesday night on Kersten Court. In the victory over the ‘Ledgers’ Saturday, Lambert nailed ‘10’ three pointers…to go along with 5-‘two’ point baskets, and converted 5-of-6-free throw attempts to complete his memorable night. Jets Leading Scorer, Mitchel Schneider, sat out the game after tweaking his ankle against Two Rivers on Friday. Garceau told us today that Chombi wasn’t really forcing up the shots in the win.
