The bus route from Tosa to downtown will soon be all-electric.
Milwaukee County Transit System unveiled its first electric bus last night.
It will make the regular trip between downtown and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center on what is to be called the East-West BRT system.
BRT stands for Bus Rapid Transit.
MCTS managers are predicting the new route will see more riders, up to 9,500 by 2035, they say.
The bus will start making its regular run sometime next year.
