Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay has acquired a $10,000 grant from its USA parent organization to aid those injured as a result of the Pulaski bonfire accident.
The funds can be used to help families pay for expenses incurred as a result of the recent accident.
Karmen Lemke, Director of Catholic Charities, said, “At Catholic Charities, our mission is to help everyone in our communities. By providing these funds, we hope that we can relieve some of the financial burden families may be suffering at this time and allow them to focus on helping their child heal.”
Assumption of the Virgin Mary Parish in Pulaski is working with Catholic Charities to distribute and provide gas cards and visa cards for travel.
