Dale M. Koeser, 82, of Manitowoc died on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Samaritan Home.
Dale was born on August 26, 1940, in Manitowoc to Marvin and Lila (Lyons) Koeser. Dale served his country in the United States Army. In 1959, he married Mary Ann Fischer. Together they had three daughters: Kim Koeser, Brenda (Randy) Koeser, and Kandy (Brian) Gosz, all of Francis Creek. Dale built their home and stable with lumber he cut and milled himself. He and Mary Ann owned and operated Hillcrest Dude Ranch with the help of their girls for many years and they attended many horse shows.
In 1995, he married Karen Lenz, and they resided in Maribel. In 2000 they opened Accents-N-Spice Gift and Craft Shop. Dale was a very talented woodworker and soon filled the shop with his handy work. Over the years he was employed at Manitowoc Engineering, Eastman, LC Cherney of Denmark, and retired from Holschbach Excavating.
Dale is survived by his wife: Karen; his three daughters; five step children: Gay (Ismo) Acevedo, Clintonville, Joy Bonk, Maribel, Tony (Sue) Bonk, Crivitz, Janice Schiesl, Kellnersville, and Jill Bonk, Green Bay; three grandchildren: Kayla (Tyler) Loeh, Lane (Allie) Gosz, and Shiloh Porubcansky (Connor Frank), all of Francis Creek; eight step-grandchildren: Stephanie Bonk, Green Bay, Brianna (Bernie) Larkee, Hilbert, Amber Orlando, IA, Dakota (Andrew) Hynek, Kellnersville, Alexis and Emilee Acevedo, Milwaukee, Amy Acosta and Amanda Bonk, MI; and two brothers-in-law: Leroy (Patty) Reindl, Whitelaw, and Ed Lenz, Sheboygan. He is further survived by 11 great grandchildren: nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Barbara Reindl; and faithful companion, Mandy.
A visitation and time of fellowship to celebrate Dale’s life will be held at the All-Care Center, 925 S. 14th Street, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm on Sunday, October 23, 2022.
