A Green Bay man is facing charges after the death of a 38-year-old man in July.
The Green Bay Police Department responded to a home on South Point Road where they located the deceased man. An autopsy found a mix of drugs in his system, including fentanyl.
His death was ruled accidental. An investigation continued, and officers found messages between the man and another individual named Kevin Lacrosse where the unidentified man asked for Percocet.
During an interview with Lacrosse, the 44-year-old man admitted to selling the deceased man drugs but said he gave him Vicodin, which was not found in the man’s system.
Police have noted that they have had issues in the past with people stamping fentanyl pills with Percocet markings.
Lacrosse has been charged with 1st Degree Reckless Homicide by the Delivery OR Manufacture of a Controlled Substance. If found guilty, he could spend up to 46 years in prison.
