Arlene Williamson, age 85, a Manitowoc resident, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Sylvan Crossings Assisted Living in Manitowoc.
Arlene was born on May 27, 1937, in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Ervin and Clara (Jaeger) Zastrow. On March 5, 1955, Arlene married Thomas Williamson at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2009.
Survivors include Arlene’s 6 children, Scott (Maria) Williamson, San Diego, CA; Kim (Melody) Williamson, Pine River; David (Cynthia) Williamson, Manitowoc; Michael Williamson, Manitowoc; Susan (Ronald) Behnke, Two Rivers; and Daniel Williamson, Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren, Michael Williamson, Michelle Williamson (Jonathan Duran), Shawn (Tiffany) Williamson, Aaron Williamson (Annie Oravec), Nicole (Dean) Dvorak, Rebecca (Bradley) Schultz, Ryan (Angie) Williamson, Dylan (Abby) Williamson, Amy Behnke, and Melissa Behnke; 10 great-grandchildren, Aidan, Ava, and Olivia Williamson; Finley and Brooke Dvorak; Ezra Schultz; Oakley Williamson; Cameron Behnke; and Aiden and Michelle Behnke. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; one granddaughter, Cassandra; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Edith (Walter) Peters, Irma (Conway) Reseburg, Gertrude (Alfred) Heinz, and Bernice (Richard) Lade; five brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard Williamson, Judy Williamson, Bill (Elaine) Williamson, Marge (Eugene) Haver, Barbara (Cliff) DuChateau, and Carol (Bill) Holmes.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc, with Rev. Robert Kujawski and Rev. Stephen Melso officiating. A luncheon for family and friends will then be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. The family will greet relatives and friends at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
