There are two meetings today (October 3rd) in the City of Two Rivers.
The Committee on Aging will kick off the day at 8:30 a.m. in the Senior Center Library and will be joined by Diane Johnson, the Two Rivers School District Superintendent.
She will be discussing the referendum that will be on the ballot in November.
Then, the Recreation Department will discuss their adaptive kayaking program, before the group discusses new programming at the Senior Center, and their upcoming health and information fair.
Then, at 6:00 this evening, the City Council will hold their regular meeting in the Council Chambers.
As usual, City Manager Greg Buckley will give updates on the ongoing projects, before the Council proclaims this week as Mental Illness Awareness Week and Public Power Week.
In a closed session, the Council will hold collective bargaining agreement discussions with the Two Rivers Police and Firefighter’s unions, before adopting them in an open session.
