The Marshall man accused of killing a 21-year-old Sun Prairie man, then hiding his body in a storage unit, says it was a lucky thing he had his gun on him. Sun Prairie Police say 59-year-old Daniel C. Lieske claims he was under attack when he shot Jesse Faber several times. Lieske says the two men had been drinking together, then started to fight. He says the killing was a case of self-defense, accusing the younger man of attacking him with a sickle and a metal pipe. Lieske is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse. His fiancé, Meichelle Goss, is also charged with hiding a corpse.
