If his trial starts next Monday, as scheduled, accused killer Darrell Brooks Junior will serve as his own counsel.
Brooks is accused of killing six people and injuring at least 60 when he drove an SUV through the crowd at last year’s Waukesha Christmas Parade.
He fired his public defenders last week.
Prosecutors say they will object to another delay request if Brooks makes one.
Jury selection starts Monday, October 3rd.
