The Milwaukee Brewers have nine games left in the regular season as they try to track down one of the two teams currently in front of them for a wildcard berth.
All 9 of those games will be played at American Family Field, starting tonight against St. Louis.
The Brewers will start Adrian Houser (6-and-9 with a 4.62 ERA) while the Cardinals who can clinch the Central title in Milwaukee this week send Miles Mikolas to the mound.
He is 11-and-13 with a 3.35 ERA.
Here’s the wildcard picture for Manager Craig Counsell’s ballclub.
They’re a game and a half behind the Phillies for the 3rd and final berth, and 3-games back of the Padres for the 2nd wildcard.
Tonight’s coverage of Brewer baseball starts at 6:05 p.m. on 107.9 FM WOMT, ahead of a 6:40 p.m. first pitch.
