Manitowoc Lincoln traveled to Notre Dame Academy for a Boys Soccer match last night and the Ships fell to the back-to-back State runner-up, 4-0.
Despite the loss, Coach Matt Kadow said his Ships played a strong and aggressive defensive game that included the solid goalkeeping of senior Caleb Maes.
Other Soccer scores saw Kiel dominate St. Lawrence Seminary 5-0, Sheboygan North topple Green Bay Southwest 4-1, and Green Bay Preble best Sheboygan South 9-1.
Elsewhere there were several close matchups. Sheboygan Christian/Lutheran edged Oostburg 1-0, New Berlin Eisenhower snuck out a 3-2 win over Plymouth, and St. Mary Catholic shut out Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah 2-0.
