Hit and Run in Brown County

There was a hit and run incident in Brown County yesterday. A short while after the accident on I-41 near County Highway S, a Wisconsin State Trooper observed a vehicle speeding near Wrightstown Road in Outagamie County. When the Trooper began to pursue the vehicle, the driver accelerated. The vehicle eventually crashed into the back of a southbound Jeep near College Ave. It was later determined the vehicle was the same one involved in the hit and run incident. The driver of that vehicle was found to be suffering a medical emergency and was transported to a local hospital. No other injuries were reported, and there is no word on any charges being filed against the driver.
