The Milwaukee Brewers drop another one to New York as the Mets pulled away late to win 7-5.
Aaron Ashby, Peter Stzelski, and Hoby Milner combined for a solid five and one-third innings of one-hit ball, and the offense put up 4 runs through five innings.
But Brad Boxberger allowed three earned runs in the 6th, and Taylor Rogers gave up a Francisco Lindor grand slam in the 7th to put the Mets ahead for good.
The Brewers remain 2.5 games out of the 3rd and final National League wildcard spot as they prepare to battle the Mets again at 1:10 this afternoon.
