
A Dane County judge has sentenced convicted double murderer Khari Sanford to two life sentences without the possibility of parole.
Sanford shot Doctor Beth Potter and her husband, Robin Carre, to death in March 2020.
A jury found Sanford guilty of two counts of first-degree intentional homicide last May.
The bodies were found in the UW Arboretum.
Sanford had been in a relationship with the couple’s daughter.
Co-defendant Ali’jah Larrue was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty and testifying at Sanford’s trial.
