The Brewers suffered through another devastating loss when the bullpen blew a five-run lead on the way to a 10-7 loss at Colorado.
Leading 6-1 behind starter Brandon Woodruff going into the eighth, Luis Perdomo and Peter Strzelecki surrendered five runs for a 6-6 tie.
Milwaukee went up with a run in the top of the 10th, but Randal Grichuk touched lefty reliever Taylor Rogers for a game-winning three-run homer in the last of that inning.
The loss dropped the Brewers three games back in the race for the final Wild Card position.
Grichuk had two homers in the game.
Eric Lauer starts this afternoon’s game for Milwaukee in the rubber game of the series.
