The Madison Mallards have the first female general manager in the team’s history. Samantha Rubin was officially announced at the GM last week.
She’s only the fourth person ever to hold the title.
Rubin had been serving as the Mallards’ assistant general manager for the last nine months.
Mallards President Vern Stenman says she is a natural leader who has done an “amazing job creating a connection” with the Madison team’s staff and Mallard fans.
