The Packers have signed a dozen players to their practice squad following NFL cut-down day.
All 12 were with the team during training camp.
Green Bay has only two running backs on its 53-man roster but the front office is thinking Amari Rodgers should be able to fill in there.
Safety Rudy Ford was signed Wednesday to bolster special teams’ play.
Safety Micah Abernathy was released to make room for Ford.
Players signed to the practice squad include running back Tyler Goodson, running back Patrick Taylor, quarterback Danny Etling, defensive lineman Jack Heflin, wide receiver Travis Fulgham, cornerback Rico Gafford, linebacker La’Darius Hamilton, tackle Caleb Jones, linebacker Kobe Jones, defensive lineman Chris Slayton, cornerback Kiondre Thomas, and linebacker Ray Wilborn.]
