A Michigan judge will decide whether there is enough evidence to try five men for plotting to kidnap that state’s governor.
One of the suspects is 52-year-old Brian Higgins of Wisconsin Dells.
He and the other men are charged with providing material support to a terrorist act in October 2020.
Investigators say Higgins provided night-vision goggles and used a dash cam to spy on Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s vacation home.
