Manitowoc Lincoln has opened the Girls High School Varsity Volleyball season by splitting six matches.
Recently inducted Wisconsin Hall of Fame Coach Mary Beth Dixon saw her team drop a pair of matches to Cedar Grove-Belgium and Racine Lutheran 2 games to 1 at the Oostburg Quad last Thursday.
The Ships then competed Friday and Saturday at the Sun Prairie Tournament where they swept Luxemburg-Casco,
Wrightstown and DeForest, before falling to Luxemburg-Casco, 2-to-1. Lincoln begins FRCC action on Thursday, September 8th at Green Bay Preble.
