The City of Milwaukee is honoring a ten-year-old boy who died in a house fire in 2015 while trying to save his cousin. Kevin Little Junior got trapped in a burning home near North 36th Street and Silver Spring Drive while attempting to rescue his two-year-old cousin. Both children died in the fire. Kevin’s parents were presented with the Carnegie Medal Sunday, a national award given to people who commit heroic acts.
