
A Green Bay woman is facing charges after she allegedly broke into her daughter’s home to steal several items.
Officers were called to the victim’s home at around 1:00 p.m. on August 23rd after the victim returned home to find her house in shambles.
Numerous items were reported stolen, including a car, a TV, a laptop, eight pairs of shoes, and multiple other household items totaling an estimated $3,200 worth.
Also reportedly taken was a bag containing important paperwork, such as birth certificates, photographs, and tax papers.
44-year-old Shae Dowdy, the victim’s mother, was seen pacing outside of the residence, and she was taken into custody.
She is facing two charges each of Criminal Trespass and Bail Jumping each as a repeater, as well as Theft, and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent, both of which also as a repeat offender.
If convicted, Dowdy could spend up to 27 and a half years in prison.
She is scheduled to be back in court on September 13th and is free on a $10,000 signature bond.
