The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers may have won the battle yesterday (August 28th) over Lansing, but the Lugnuts won the war.
Lansing beat the Rattlers 4 times in their weeklong series, while the Rattlers only pick up a pair of wins.
In yesterday’s 5-2 win, the Rattlers were led offensively by Designated Hitter Jacson Chouri, who had a three-run bomb in the 3rd inning which gave the Rattlers a 4-0 lead.
Jeferson Quero and Zack Raabe each picked up a pair of hits and accounted for a run apiece.
Carlos Rodriguez picked up the win on the mound as he went 6 innings, allowed only 3 hits and 1 run while striking out 7 batters.
The Rattlers will take today off before traveling to Peoria Illinois for a week-long series against the Chiefs.
