A day after they scored 13 runs, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers’ offense was anemic last night as they fell to the Lansing Lugnuts 6-1.
There are a lot of zeros in the Rattlers’ stat sheet as only two batters got even a single hit.
That being said, Shortstop Eduardo Garcia had a great night at the plate going 3 for 4 while driving in the only run of the day for the home team.
Wes Clarke picked up the only other hit for the Rattlers.
Starting Pitcher Brady Scanuel had a decent night.
He went for the first 3 innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out 1 batter.
His opponent on the mound, Joey Estas went 6 innings while allowing 1 hit and struck out 6.
The series continues into the weekend with a big promotional event taking place tomorrow night.
