Packers head coach Matt LaFleur confirms that quarterback Aaron Rodgers and most of his team’s starters won’t take the field in Thursday’s preseason finale at Kansas City.
LaFleur calls it a “risk versus reward” situation as he tried to keep those starters healthy for the regular season opener at Minnesota on September 11th.
The only first-team players to see action in the two preseason games so far are rookie linebacker Quay Walker and offensive linemen Yosh Nijman, Jon Runyan Junior, Josh Myers, Jake Hanson, and Royce Newman.
