Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says the standard of performance for one of his rookie wide receivers will be higher than it has been for others at the position over the last four-to-five years.
Rodgers says Romeo Doubs has done “a lot of really nice things” during training and in the two preseason games.
The future Hall of Fame QB says he expects Doubs to play based on his performance so far this summer.
Doubs has had a TD reception in both preseason games and has consistently made so-called “splash” plays during practices.
That bumps the expectations for performance a little higher for him.
