High School football returns to the local spotlight this weekend.
In fact, there are a handful of games tonight (August 18th), including those involving Manitowoc Lincoln and Kiel.
The Shipbuilders travel to Appleton West to meet the Terrors in their season opener.
Last year, West prevailed over Lincoln 14- 12, at Rubick Municipal Athletic Field.

Elsewhere on opening night, the Kiel Raiders head north to Kewaunee to battle the Storm, Bay Port is on the road to face Middleton, D.C. Everest invades Green Bay Preble, Kaukauna is at Ashwaubenon, Neenah travels to De Pere, Green Bay Southwest plays host to Appleton North and Chilton makes a road trip to Crivitz.
All games kick off at 7:00 p.m.
