The 43-year-old Appleton woman who had attempted to rob her former employer at gunpoint has been sentenced.
Melissa Mann was sentenced to five years in prison and five years of extended supervision by Judge Mitchell Metropulos.
Mann was found guilty due to a no contest plea on a charge of Attempted Armed Robbery.
Mann was arrested after she ordered a soda in the drive-thru of the McDonalds near the Appleton Airport.
When she got to the window, she displayed a BB gun and demanded money from the till.
The employee left to get someone, and by the time they returned, Mann was gone.
She was quickly identified and caught.
