A Manitowoc woman is facing charges following a vehicle crash over the weekend.
The crash in the 1100 block of Lincoln Boulevard was reported to the Manitowoc Police Department at around 4:15 yesterday afternoon (July 31st).
The responding officers noted the female driver was showing signs of impairment, including slurring her words.
When the officer asked for her driver’s license, the woman reportedly handed him a debit card, and had trouble standing.
The 45-year-old woman told the officers that she was coming home from a friend’s house, and that she had had three beers.
She also continually asked to have her backpack, which was found to be containing marijuana and fentanyl.
The woman has been charged with Possession of THC and Fentanyl as well as her 1st OWI Offense.
