
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 10 game losing streak has come to an end.
The Rattlers finally picked up a win on Friday (July 29th), as they defeated the West Division-leading Cedar Rapids Kernels 4-0 in front of a home crowd, and did it again on Saturday with a 7-6 win.
However, the Rattlers fell yesterday 9-2 to close out the month of July.
Wisconsin’s offense came alive in those three games, outhitting the Kernels 23-15 while the pitching was outstanding.
In the shutout win on Friday, Justin Jarvis struck out 8 batters in his 6 innings, while Taylor Floyd and Robbie Baker punched out 7 more.
25 more strikeouts were recorded by Rattler pitchers in the final two games of the series as well.
The Rattlers will take a day off today before traveling to Davenport Iowa to take on the Quad Cities River Bandits on Tuesday.
